Currently the BIG TUNA have disappeared, there are however a few small LONGFIN TUNA around and some SMALL YELLOWFIN with I’m sure, a few MARLIN not far behind as its that time of year with perfect water conditions (temp and colour)
However, what’s currently on offer is YELLOWTAIL (Kingfish) or our CAPE SNOEK with a few ATLANTIC BONITO in between.
That will continue till MID MARCH when hopefully the BIG TUNA will return.
Our PELAGIC BIRDING CHARTERS start on the 18th/19th JAN 2025, and we have 30-40 trips booked already.

- We are members of The Cape Charter Boa Association, International Game Fishing Association, South African Deep Sea Association and the Western Province Game Fishing Association, including reciprocity with other international organizations.
- All our skippers and deckhands are STCW 95 qualified (first aid, firefighting, personal safety at sea, life raft training)
- All our skippers and crew are COMMERCIALLY endorsed to take paying passengers to sea.
- We are fully insured through Club Marine and have public and passenger liability, public liability insurance up to R20 Million. STCW qualified crew & skippers.
- We are inspected and surveyed through SAMSA annually as a Charter Vessel.
