Well Good Day All

Since January there have been mixed fortunes with plenty of Juvenile Yellowfin Tuna around making for either a fantastic HALF or FULL day charter on light gear, with the odd 35 to 60kg in between.

Hopefully, this continues until the BIG TUNA arrive and water temps drop a bit as its currently up to 22 deg.

There was good Yellowtail at Cape Point but that’s all dried up.

Our Pelagic Birding charters have again produced some very good sightings so if you’re after one of these trips get hold of Trevor from Zest for Birds and he will try and slot you into some new bookings as all trips for this year when I last chatted were fully booked making him now consider booking a second boat for some days.

We have also been releasing some Juvenile Turtles who took a bit longer to be Rehabilitated and were returned back to their rightful place in the ocean.

Our very own TUNA MASTERS hosted by Atlantic Boat Club from the 6th till 10th of MAY 2025 is on the cards within excess of R500Β 000 in prizes up for grabs.

We will also be hosting the traditional TUNA NATIONALS over the easter weekend.

So, looking ahead the BIG TUNA should arrive soon and that will take us through till end MAY after which we go into our WINTER SPECIALS for 3 hour to Half day , for anything from Reef Fishing to HALF day GAME FISHING.
