Good Day from Screaming REELS
It’s been a strange start to the first part of our TUNA SEASON with firstly, plenty of young Yellowfin Tuna (12-35kgs) and then of late a much larger size (65 to 100kgs) and a few mixed Longfin in between.
Theres been a very good sign of Big eye Tuna but not really biting YET!
Too be honest I think WINTERS coming early so April/ May should be a cracker.
Snoek seems to be popping up in the strangest of places with some quality YELLOWTAIL coming out in and around Cape Point.
Our Pelagic Birding Charters under the watch full eye of Zest For Birds has produced some specular days with large numbers of Spectacle Petrels.
Weather patterns are taking its toll on bookings with strong South easterly winds at this time of year as well as some MISTY DAYS normally seen late April or Early May.
We have our South African leg of TUNA MASTERS hosted by ATLANTIC BOAT CLUB from 6th-10th MAY with the others hosted in Turkey out of TEOS or ALACATI in SEPTEMBER.
We again in collaboration with the TWO OCEANS AQUARIUM FOUNDATION released some rehabilitated TURTLES which may be the last for this part of the season.
I’m sure things will settle down soon, so if you’re after a world class day look no further as we have the boats, expertise and tackle to catch them all.

- All our skippers and crew are COMMERCIALLY endorsed to take paying passengers to sea.
- We are fully insured through Club Marine and have public and passenger liability, public liability insurance up to R20 Million. STCW qualified crew & skippers.
- We are inspected and surveyed through SAMSA annually as a Charter Vessel.
