From the CAPE of STORMS, where we have had the most SEVERE WINTER I can remember, GALES, RAIN and BIG SWELL not seen for many years.
Well let’s hope it’s the “ANTRE “ to a COOKING TUNA SEASON and more.
That’s not too far away with SPRING about to SPRONG and some seasonal changes in the pipeline.
Since JUNE, our WINTER SPECIALS along with our PELAGIC BIRDING CHARTERS have kept us nice and busy in between all this inclement weather and this will continue till the end of SEPTEMBER or once our TUNA arrive.
With the onset of SUMMER, one can expect YELLOWTAIL (Kingfish) SNOEK (sadly not seen so far) ATLANTIC BONITO (great small fighting fish) found in many places depending on what weather has been occurring.
However, our focus from OCTOBER will be TUNA and PELAGIC BIRDING CHARTERS.
The boats have all been SURVEYED for charters by SAMSA as a commercial operation, serviced, spruced up ie new knee pads, seats etc and ready for action.
With already a very full order book including into next year, weather always has the final say so for those still wanting to book always allow for some flexibility and remember there are some GOOD OPERATORS out there and as many “FLY BY NIGHTS”, so do your homework check out their reviews.

- All our skippers and deckhands are STCW 95 qualified (first aid, firefighting, personal safety at sea, life raft training)
- All our skippers and crew are COMMERCIALLY endorsed to take paying passengers to sea.
- We are fully insured through Club Marine and have public and passenger liability, public liability insurance up to R20 Million. STCW qualified crew & skippers.
- We are inspected and surveyed through SAMSA annually as a Charter Vessel.
