April 2018 Captain’s Log – Hooked on Africa Fishing Charters

Well Good Day ALL

After very mixed fortunes over the last 3 months with Yellowfin Tuna, Marlin and Dorado, we now set our sights on what hopefully turns into a frenetic April and May with Yellowfin and Longfin Tuna and Yellowtail and hopefully, winter Snoek in June, July, August and September.

We’ve had a very busy month of March with 20 charters, all days being good, but some with more fish than others.

So on the Offshore Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing and Tuna Fishing side, the next 2 months should produce as it’s our prime time and, we can always find you a boat in our SELECT FLEET. See our deep sea fishing fleet here

On the Inshore Fishing and Game Fishing side, Yellowtail have made an appearance at Cape Point and one or two shoals at Robben Island always an option if the weathers a bit iffy.

We have also been targeting Yellowtail on the current line which has yielded mixed fortunes Yellowtail, Skipjack Tuna and Katankal and even Yellowfin Tuna

SO for those of you wanting to test yourselves against one of the strongest fighting fish you will encounter get those reservations in as Neptune always has the final say pertaining to weather.

REMEMBER THE TUNA MASTERS CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL 16th APRIL to 21st APRIL and GORDAN’S BAY OFFSHORE CLASSIC 28th APRIL to 5th MAY.

Enjoy the photos!
