Spring has sprung, the south Easter has come and the way this year’s flying, it’s almost done!

The tuna are just around the corner. In fact, some were taken in mid-August so, Neptune willing, we should be in for an early season!

I think we need to mention some of our brand suppliers who have made us their brand ambassadors for the season again, so Halco Lures  whom we’ve used for over 25 years  leading the pack, Quiver Outdoor Gear who keep us warm and dry, Stealth Fishing for our Smith Optics to see the fish as well as their fly tackle and braided Tuf-Line so we can catch the fish!

A massive thanks to Gamakatsu hooks and vital game fish flies to hook the fish, as well as Tucker’s Tackle for all our terminal gear.

It’s been a phenomenal winter with plenty of inshore game fishing charters as well as a few pelagic birding trips and a number of film shoots to fill in the gaps.

Snoek have again been very disappointing with a no show again this year off Hout Bay but the Yellowtail, Katonkal and Slender Tuna have kept us busy and that seems set to continue for our inshore game fishing charters going forward.

Looking ahead, it’s going to be busy, hectic and even chaotic at times! Teos Tournament in Turkey and the Alacati Tournament in Turkey. Busy 23rd to 28th of October with the Tuna invitational, The Tuna derby in early November, Volvo ocean race mid-November, Volvo ocean race early December and then a full order book through till mid-January with much of next year already pre-booked!
