Well Good Day ALL
From a very busy CAPTAIN’S CABIN, since we last spoke, plenty of TUNA ACTION with sizes from 25kgs to 80kgs and everything in between.
Some nice class YELLOWTAIL on the current line and a few LONGFINS just to add species to our normal day.
This is set to continue through till JUNE however with the number of cold fronts already from mid-MARCH this may end earlier than normal, so for those wanting a world-class experience with a proper crew and boat look no further, as there are plenty currently out there with all the gear and NO idea.
Our PELAGIC BIRDING trips have due to the weather not really got going with only a few managing to get out and yielding good results let’s hope the weather plays ball going forward.
Our very own TUNA MASTERS starts on the 12th of APRIL, and we will fish the best 3 days out of 13th to 16th with prizes worth over R250 000 – remembering, you got to be in it, to win it!
There are 2 days left from our belated, reduced ROCK LOBSTER season being the 8th and 9th of APRIL so weather permitting we will enjoy.
So, looking ahead we have 2 months of TUNA left NEPTUNE willing, after which SNOEK, a very good WINTER species should arrive along with YELLOWTAIL and another of our WINTER species ATLANTIC BONITO.
Remembering our WINTER SPECIALS kick in from JUNE through till end SEPTEMBER so watch out for these specials.
We also have TUNA NATIONALS being fished out of ATLANTIC BOAT CLUB from 15th to 20th of MAY where our anglers test their skills on 10kg line against one of the strongest fighting fish you will encounter.
We again managed to release 4 juveniles RESCUED, REHABILITATED and RELEASED turtles for the TWO OCEANS AQUARIUM back where they belong so well done to Talitha and her dedicated team of helpers.
