The 2017 Cape Town International Tuna Invitational

Hosted by The Atlantic Boat Club & Hooked On Africa Fishing Charters, the 2017 International Tuna Invitational in Cape Town will be taking place in April 2017.

Due to intense interest and limited space availability, we strongly urge the interested parties to complete their bookings as soon as possible by swift return.

Programme:

The program we will follow is based on fishing 3 of the 6 days in Cape Town. This means we will choose the days with optimal fishing conditions. Outside the fishing days, Cape Town offers a variety of possibilities. Detailed information on the subjects will be shared with our traveling friends.

April 22^nd, 2017 – Cape Town, THY 12:10 arrival

The above itinerary will be based on the flying with Turkish Airlines. It is possible that the best deal might be on another airline. In this case, please ensure that you book flights that coincide with the times above. Separate airport transfers can be arranged for those taking different flights. We’ve already got our Turkish Airlines tickets and they’re running out fast!

Costs:

The numbers shown hereunder differ only by the choice of room style and number of people. The local currency is the Rand, and prices are given in Rand; we have converted them in Euros for your convenience. Additionally, the prices include:

Transfers from/to marina and hotel, airport, 7 nights accommodation in a luxury boutique hotel, welcome and gala dinners, charter fee on the basis of three (3) anglers per boat, lunch on board and tournament fees.

The charter operation is the best in the area, all teams are good anglers and speak English, and the boat equipment is ideal for the type of fishing. All equipment necessary for the competition will be available on board, but whoever wishes to bring his/their own tackle can do so. Generally speaking, 50lbs reels with 80lbs line is the standard there.
